Helper: Beat detection etc

I wanna write a beat detection thingy or an engine, or find a library that handles sound so you can detect kicks, claps, etc. Might be hard, but better than nothing, I suppose.

ngl would've been helpful for the wallpaper I made. Biggest issue I had was, as far as I can tell, there's no way to get the system volume, let alone volume from the music player. For good detection, you'd probably need to track decaying peak volume.
