Running latest CachyOS, tried your setup script.
All runs well up until the RT Launcher. When hitting "Launch", it complains it can't find BattleTech.exe . Which makes sense, because it doesn't exist. After "creating" it with ln -s BattleTech BattleTech.exe nothing really changes, though: Hitting "Launch" in the RT Launcher still fails to start the game.
I'm attaching the logs, maybe you can make sense of them?

Do note that I have no trouble running Battletech or Roguetech when I install them following the official guide https://roguetech.fandom.com/wiki/Installation#Linux
