I added my numbered points to an image with the multi-point tool using ImageJ. After doing that and beginning to measure each oyster I realized I missed a couple oysters that now have no number. When I go to add new numbered points to the image, the counting restarts from 1, meaning that there would be 2 oysters that say 1. How do I add numbered points so that it continues counting from the count of points I already had?

If you need to manually add a couple points, I recommend just adding them with the text tool! You can then type the number you want rather than using the automatic counter.
