Script highlights every my comment as green, but it’s wrong

I see all my comments. When I turn on this script, it highlights every my comment as green.
When I read comments as anonimous user, I don't see some of my "green" comments.
I found this script, got it doesn't work, turned it off some time ago. Now I check it, updated, see same issue. Decide to report it.

Windows 11. Firefox ESR 140. Violentmonkey.

On my end it still works. My testing video and testing account still produce the expected result:

Your layout also seems different from mine. What other extensions are you using? Have you tried disabling those first?

I can try to dig up another my shadowed comments, if need.

I will try to check behavior without any addons tomorrow evening or on weekend but I doubt the point is here.
Addons are: uBlock (and I hide recommendations block), NoScript, Disable autoplay for youtube, vpn, etc.

Thank you for the links, very interesting. When I use the direct link to your reply it does show up but not when viewing the whole thread. This script uses the "highlighted reply" to determine if the comment is publicly visible, which was very reliable in my tests.

I even checked the actually JSON replies from YouTube and in the direct link it is listed, while being oddly absent in the thread view.

I assume it is not actually shadow banned, since then the highlighted reply does work. It more likely seems like another kind of glitch that makes your comment invisible.

You can easily check if the script is working by putting a link in a test comment, like a link to another video. Those will 99% likely be blocked and held for review and should be highlighted red.

I actually copied your comment 1:1 on my test account and it did not get shadowed.

I encounter a situation where my comments are not visible to other people quite often. This is not a one-time glitch. Your script turns all my comments green. Perhaps YouTube has several shadowban mechanisms?

Good to know. Still I think it is a bug unrelated to shadow banning as, at least from the example you gave:

1. Your message was content neutral
2. Could be posted by me 1:1 without being held for review
3. Was visible with direct links, which is impossible if the message is being filtered out and held for review

I'm afraid this is just a case of YouTube being unstable with their new feature, the comment tree view.

There seems to be no way for me to reproduce it. If you encounter this issue again and are willing to further test it, please provide both links as you did with the previous comment.

There of course is the possibility that YouTube has two independent message filters: the channel based one I check for and a global one. But that seems unlikely as I was able to post it.

As I told earlier, I found your script a while ago. Long time before youtube made its new treeview feature. Then I got this issue: all my comments were green but some of them were invisible for other people. I turned off the script and forgot about it until now. Now I updated it and find same issue.
I don't know why, I don't know how to reproduce. Here another examples a year ago. I asked my opponent if he see my comment — he answered he doesn't.

Thank you for all the links. I will need to experiment more on detecting those cases, it will be quite difficult to be reliable if the highlighted comment does not catch everything.

The main trouble is long comment chains or now the trees not loading every comment at once so it will be a challenge to find another way that is not related to the highlighted comment. As I said, I could not reproduce the issue yet, so it is tough to find a solution.
