A couple days ago, NHL 2001 was up and running after installing this along side a patch for nGlide and WinVista compatibility.
Today, it crashes right as I'm about to get to the Select Teams screen, which is right where I was before I installed this compatibility layer. NHL 2002 also hates this screen, as it crashes either right before the screen or at the screen where I would select the lineups and jerseys. And to add insult to injury, 9 times out 10, the failing module is located in System32 (ususally AcGenral.dll or ntdll.dll), meaning this isn't an easy fix. Below are the screenshots of the types of errors EventViewer presents me with.
How screwed am I? Are these games literally unplayable, or is there something that can be done to salvage them so I don't have to resort to a virtual machine? These crashes are at a very specific part of the games.
