I love VRCLightVolumes conceptually but I just don't get as good of results on my dynamic objects as bakery volumes, which I am confused by because I though they basically use the same data.
Light volumes:
Bakery volume:
(we're only looking at the skin mat)
As you can see the light volume result is much softer, flatter looking with less specular and shadow
