I'm making a few changes to simplify Quartz and make development more sustainable moving forward.
The Read Mode and Ad Blocker extensions will no longer be separate extensions. Instead, both features will be built directly into the browser. This will provide a more seamless experience for users while reducing the complexity of maintaining multiple projects.
I'm also developing a new tool that will make it much easier for users to create their own custom extensions. The goal is to keep Quartz flexible and customizable without adding unnecessary complexity to the core browser.
These changes are being made because development has grown more complex than originally intended. As the project expanded, maintaining separate extensions and related infrastructure began creating overhead that slowed development. By integrating key features into the browser and streamlining the extension ecosystem, I can focus on building a more stable, maintainable, and feature-rich browser for everyone.
