Tooltip inside the UI way to big bug and fix

Version 1.0.5 c
The tooltip from inside the addon is way to big from the normal tooltip. This is the image from the Dialogue UI Tooltip.

and the following image is the normal tooltip from my bags:

As you can see the difference is big

EDIT: Forgot to mention that i use in UI settings Use Blizzard Tooltip . If i uncheck it the fonts and size are ok.
EDIT2: I have manage to fix this small bug and i send you a .diff file with the changes to review. Hope this helps. For me with only this addon enabled it works.

Hi!

I've checked your file, it did shed some light, but unfortunately the fix won't work if Hide UI in Dialogue UI's settings is enabled, because every frame whose parent is the UIParent will become invisible.

I wonder what UI Overhaul addon you are using that may have change the default GameTooltip's parent from UIParent to something else.

Could you try this command while hover your cursor over a spell or bag item (to show the GameTooltip), and see what's shown in the chat?

/dump GameTooltip:GetParent():GetName()

I use the command with Smooth Loin itemID = 275282 from my bag (my normal addons loaded. I also re-install your addon without the patch):
Dump: value=GameTooltip:GetParent():GetName()
[1]="UIParent"

Same with any spell.

I also run the command from inside the addon:

The GitHub was down and i left a message for you in CurseForge. I'll copy the message from there:

I found the incompatible addon that interfere with the tooltip. It's EnhanceQoL. It has an option to scale the tooltip by default to 1. So with the help of ChatGPT i wrote a new patch and i test it with the Hide UI option. Here is the new diff file.

I also run a 2nd command to the item in my bags:
Command: /dump GameTooltip:GetScale(), GameTooltip:GetEffectiveScale(), UIParent:GetEffectiveScale()

The normal GameTooltip parent is UIParent. Its local scale is 1 and effective scale is 0.64. Inside Dialogue UI, its parent is the unnamed parentless TopFrame, where local scale 1 became effective scale 1.

Enhance QoL Tooltip hooks GameTooltip OnShow and reapplies its configured local scale of 1, overriding Dialogue UI’s direct tooltip:SetScale(UIParent:GetEffectiveScale()).

I revised the patch to keep TopFrame parentless, but set TopFrame itself to UIParent:GetEffectiveScale(). GameTooltip can then retain local scale 1 while its effective scale remains 0.64, and it stays visible when UIParent alpha is zero.

Also now when i change the scale from EnhanceQoL Tooltip options it apply in both tooltips in and out of the UI.
