Currently, PasarGuard supports many excellent protocols, but it lacks integration with Mieru. In environments with severe censorship and active probing (such as Great Firewall updates or local ISP restrictions), standard protocols can sometimes be blocked or throttled. Mieru is a great connection-oriented protocol designed specifically to counter active probing, and not having it limits our options for high-censorship environments.
Many users rely on modern clients powered by Mihomo, which natively supports Mieru. Without server-side integration in PasarGuard, we cannot utilize this combination for our users.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to see Mieru protocol support added to the PasarGuard panel. This includes:
- The ability to configure Mieru inbound/outbound connections in the web GUI.
- Support for generating Mieru client configuration files for users.
- Proper integration with the underlying core to manage Mieru traffic and user authentication.
Additional context
Mieru is a flexible, censorship-resistant protocol that works well against DPI and active probing. Adding it would make PasarGuard an even more versatile all-in-one panel for users facing strict internet blocks.
