Unresolved merge conflicts in splitter_ims.py

I found some unresolved merge conflicts in splitter_ims.py (here) that can cause syntax errors in Python.
I haven't checked yet, but there can be others too.

Sorry @Vishwas78, but this code is very obsolete. It is there only to compare Python and C++ implementations. Please, go to the simulator code (https://github.com/P2PSP/simulator). Apologies!
