REP-005 | FUNCTIONAL | MUST | Wave 4 | DRAFT
Requirements
- REP-005 — Drive and validate CAGE-2 replication across the CybORG sim and the ACES reference backend
Statement
ACES shall drive the single CAGE-2 SDL document (REP-003) through both the CybORG simulation-backend adapter (REP-004) and the ACES reference backend, and shall capture replication evidence demonstrating that the authored scenario is realized consistently across both backends against the equivalence criteria defined in REP-001. Evidence shall be reproducible and suitable as paper evidence. Scope explicitly excludes an emulation-backend realization of CAGE-2.
Rationale
The demonstration itself: one scenario, two independent conformant backends, evidence of consistent realization. This is the portability-as-a-property-of-the-spec claim made concrete.
Created from Ground Control requirement REP-005
Milestone: Paper Slice: CAGE-2 Replication (ACES-Driven Sim) (#58)
Design: REP-001 / #635. Depends on: REP-003 (SDL), REP-004 (CybORG adapter).
Drive the single CAGE-2 SDL document through both the CybORG simulation-backend adapter and the ACES reference backend, and capture reproducible replication evidence showing the authored scenario is realized consistently across both backends against the equivalence criteria from REP-001. Evidence should be paper-grade.
Out of scope (deferred): CAGE-2 emulation-backend realization — this issue proves sim ↔ reference-backend portability only.
