Question regarding the 1.5+2.5 Steam graphics crash in relation to OpenKH #1254

Description

@foreverFlummoxed

During this recent playthrough of Re:Com i started to encounter the graphics crash and promptly addressed with it through the means of setting the executable to run its graphics in "Power saving" performance which didn't work initially until i had set the other 1.5+2.5 executables to also run in "Power saving" since it seemed that the main Launcher.exe (or possibly any others, i just set them all to be sure) was overriding the "Power saving" with the default setting.

This solution was working until right after i had installed OpenKH and linked the mod manager to the Steam version (despite not having modified Re:CoM specifically yet) so my current hypothesis is that OpenKH has a background program that runs when you launch any of the 1.5+2.5 executables that may be using the default graphics setting to accidentally override the games' settings, and i was hoping to see if i could get answers as to whether or not that is indeed what's going on to make the crash resurface... or i'm just incredibly unlucky an Power saving graphics setting only delayed the inevitably of the Steam graphics crash.

edit: i believe "Panacea" is causing the graphic setting override, leading to the crash, so if i knew were it and any related files are installed by Mods Manager then i would be able to theoretically fix the crash.

turns out that even if this hypothesis was correct, i wouldn't have been able to properly test it because the pre-installed graphics card on my pc was already too advanced to not have the crash (tested by disabling the more powerful graphics card entirely) so for me personally i'll just need to find fan fixes for the games' crashes, if those exist yet
