I need to run the provided skeleton backend and frontend applications
So that I have a working base to build new features

Details and Assumptions

Provided template includes Express + React skeleton

Verify app runs without errors

Acceptance Criteria

Given the cloned repo  
When I run npm install and npm start  
Then the backend and frontend start successfully with no errors
