Question

Using the real OpenAIDE Task Navigation, compare production-aligned interaction candidates for selecting Tasks the user no longer needs: a row-anchored older-than-this cutoff, an explicit multi-select mode, and a Project-level age cutoff. Which model best balances cleanup speed, precision, discoverability, and error prevention?

The prototype approval locks the entry point, selection semantics, Project scope, and visible selection behavior.

The in-page arrows switch among A (Task cutoff), B (multi-select), and C (age rule). Browser verification through the Target proxy rendered the prototype at desktop width with no console errors.

Revised the published prototype after visual review. The three variants now use production-aligned hierarchy and distinct interaction models: A has a compact row-menu entry plus an inline cutoff preview, B has a dedicated multi-select mode, and C has an inline inactivity-period selector. All show the affected count before Archive and an Undo result state. Verified through Target in dark desktop and light narrow layouts, including the 346px reported width, with no horizontal overflow or console errors.
