Contributing

Dimwit accepts focused issues and pull requests for its public research preview.

  1. Read AGENTS.md, SECURITY.md, LICENSE, and the affected capability or promotion policy.
  2. Describe the production outcome, engine/tool boundary, mutation scope, evidence contract, rollback, and human-review impact.
  3. Never weaken a validator or raise the autonomous ceiling above PROMOTED_TO_REVIEW.
  4. Prefer integration, engine-adapter conformance, recovery, supply-chain, and smoke proof.
  5. Run python scripts/pipeline/run_validation.py; preserve honest BLOCKED states for unavailable engines, assets, providers, or human visual review.
  6. Do not include credentials, private game assets, workstation paths, proprietary third-party content, store/account data, or fabricated proof.

Submitting a contribution indicates agreement with the contribution terms in LICENSE.
