This project is a meticulous reconstruction of the original v15 retail source. After auditing several "untouched" versions in the community, I discovered most were cluttered with undocumented custom code. This release merges the best available sources into one clean, standardized, and authentic base.
The goal is to provide a reliable, "zero-baseline" starting point for the community. By removing years of bloat and personal mods, this source allows developers to learn how to upgrade and modify the game correctly from a clean slate.
The Reconstruction: I compared my own old sources, Blouflash, and SourceSeller against the original retail v15 VS2003 files. I stripped out all custom additions and restored missing retail components to create the most vanilla environment possible.
This project has been modernized to run on current development environments while maintaining the original v15 logic.
To compile and run this source, you will need:
- Compiler: Visual Studio 2026 Community
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2012+
- Pure Vanilla: Identical to the original v15 release; all "Boost" and custom mods removed.
- Restored Content: Re-added original Tutorial changes and Guild Rank systems (with SQL support).
- Modernized: Fully upgraded to VS2026 and Lua 5.3.
- Cleaned Assets: All icons and images replaced with original, untouched v15 versions.
1. Development Only: This source is as vanilla as it gets. Every exploit known to Flyff history will work on these files. Do not use this in a live environment without fixing existing vulnerabilities first.
