The OpenWork Enterprise Edition (EE) License (the "EE License")
Copyright (c) 2026-present Different AI, Inc.
With regard to the OpenWork Software in this directory:
This software and associated documentation files (the "Software") may only
be used in production if you (and any entity that you represent) hold a
valid OpenWork subscription for the correct number of users, as set out in
the OpenWork Subscription Terms available at
https://openworklabs.com/terms/subscription, or another written agreement
between you and Different AI, Inc. governing the use of the Software.
No subscription is required for the following uses:
(a) production use by an organization with up to five (5) total users
of the Software, excluding the Enterprise Features (as defined in
the OpenWork Subscription Terms);
(b) internal evaluation of the Software for a period of up to thirty
(30) days from first deployment, regardless of user count, or such
longer period as Different AI, Inc. agrees to in writing; and
(c) use for development and testing purposes.
Subject to the foregoing, you are free to modify the Software and publish
patches to the Software. You agree that Different AI, Inc. and/or its
licensors (as applicable) retain all right, title and interest in and to
all such modifications and/or patches, and all such modifications and/or
patches may only be used, copied, modified, displayed, distributed, or
otherwise exploited in accordance with this EE License, including, where
applicable, a valid OpenWork subscription for the correct number of users.
You are not granted any other rights beyond what is expressly stated
herein. Subject to the foregoing, it is forbidden to copy, merge, publish,
distribute, sublicense, and/or sell the Software.
You must not remove or alter any copyright, license, or other proprietary
notices provided in or with the Software. Except for identifying
Different AI, Inc. as the origin of the Software, you have no right under
this EE License to use Different AI's trademarks, trade names, service
marks, or product names.
Grant of Future License: Different AI, Inc. hereby irrevocably grants you
an additional license to use each version of the Software under the MIT
license, effective on the second anniversary of the date that version of
the Software is first made publicly available. On or after that date, you
may use that version of the Software under the MIT license.
This EE License applies only to the part of this Software that is not
distributed as part of the MIT-licensed portions of OpenWork. Any part of
this Software that is served client-side as an image, font, cascading
style sheet (CSS), or file which produces or is compiled, arranged,
augmented, or combined into client-side JavaScript, in whole or in part,
is licensed under the MIT license. The full text of this EE License shall
be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.
Software distributed under a prior license of Different AI, Inc.
(including the Functional Source License, Version 1.1, MIT Future License)
remains governed by the license under which that version was distributed.
This EE License applies to versions of the Software made available on or
after the date this file is added to the repository.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER
LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING
FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER
DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
For all third party components incorporated into the OpenWork Software,
those components are licensed under the original license provided by the
owner of the applicable component.
