How to build and install the Atecc508 engine step by step

Hi there,
I am finding so many troubles and a bit lack of documentation about the steps that are necessary to follow in order to build, install and use the engine for the atecc508.

Somebody know how can I follow the process step by step? The current version removed also the extensive information that was in the past wiki and now I don't know exactly what I need to do to use correctly Openssl with the encryption chip.

I have the atecc508 connected to a Linux board like RaspberryPi using I2C.

I try to connect the board to AWS IoT service until now using the aws-sdk for python but I would like to use the chip to store the certificates that are necessary to be connected to aws service. It is not clear for me how to approach this and especially how I can integrate the chip in this architecture.

I was trying to compile the engine trying to make it part of the process but yeah, I have no clear idea how to :O
