MacOS Sonoma, no sound output

Does this app still work on sonoma ?

I'm using SoundSource from Rogue Amoeba to manage sound across the entire OS.
I have few virtual audio devices: blackhole, teams, virtual desktop.. every one of them works as expected in different applications.

My setup:

1. virtual audio device speaker selected as output device in the app I wanna use this program for
2. app is configured as readme page says -> input is the virtual sound device, output is my system default physical speaker
3. No matter what I do, I can't hear a thing.

Since this app is so old, I expect that there are breaking changes in later MacOS distributions.
