awesomium.exe keeps running after closing program

I used the program for 2 days without any problems until today.
When i was done using it today i closed it and the main window disappeared.
But what i didn't realize is that the process awesomium.exe kept running in the background.
I noticed that after i heard some random ads play in the background even while the app wasn't running.
