There are several issues with the new UI.
When I first got into the options screen, changing the setting for full screen does make the screen readjust itself, but he setting still says "OFF". Any further changes to it (such as using left and right on the d-pad, pressing A on the SD, or using L & R as said at the bottom controls display) doesn't do anything.
The other issue is navigation. Pressing down once moves two selections down, thus causing skips in the menu selection.
Upon rebooting the game and selecting the options screen, the game immediately crashes. I managed to fix it by simply deleting everything except the rom, the app, and the save. All assets need to deleted and run the game again.
