Rtc not being read and or programed with the "solor+rtc" cart from epicjoy

Hello when trying to play Pokemon unbound on the cartridge mentioned and even The chis flash ones since they use the same chip, I need to change the day in the flashgbx rtc menu to for example friday, for pokemon unbound to say it's thursday in game. I have tested this on a ez flash Omega definitive edition and through twlmenu and this problem does not persist, it is only with the flash cart mentioned in the title and 2 chis flashes that also use the same chips. I have tried using the homebrew program called gba_rtcread to fix this issue and once I make a in game save it undos what the program fixed, the chip they all share is S29GL256N10TFI01

I noticed this on my Chisflash v1.1 as well. On another forum a different user posted this:
"Here's what I know from my own experience:
(0) Sunday
(1) Monday
(2) Tuesday
(3) Wednesday
(4) Thursday
(5) Friday
(6) Saturday

Both original GBA games and ROM hacks interpret the days using this numerical code, but this changes with FlashGBX because the week starts on Monday (0), so FlashGBX updates the RTC with the incorrect code... One day early."

FlashGBX uses the day of week value that the Boktai games set. They are official games that allow you to set the date & time directly. I then read the day of week value that the game had set and used that for the RTC Editor.

I am not aware of any other official games that use a day of week value, though.

So should I Jsut close this issue? I'm confused by this reply honestly 😅. Is this an issue are you willing to look into even? this is now be my second issue and it doesn't seem your interested in fixing and or looking into them which hey understandable this is free after all lol. I just don't want to continue wasting my time making a GitHub issue and your time ya know

I think Lesserkuma is saying he is in compliance with officially released titles like Boktai. Boktai being the only official title that supports day of the week, perhaps? Rom hacks may use a different standard perhaps. I have not done any testing with officially licensed titles yet. Maybe do some additional testing and report findings here. Again, I'm not stating any facts. I would like to get to the bottom of this too since I also have Chisflash carts and use Rom hacks. I'll dig into it and report anything useful that I find. Thanks to both of you for your efforts.

When I implemented this, I was not aware of any ROM hacks that show the date and time in-game. So I went with how Boktai handles this value.
I will look into it again and try to come up with an acceptable solution soon.
