KOReader flashes and returns to Home after firmware 5.18.1.1.1 update (Kindle Basic 10th Gen)

Hello.

I'm trying to recover my Kindle after an automatic firmware update.

Device

• Kindle Basic 10th Generation
• Firmware: 5.18.1.1.1
• Jailbreak: AdBreak (installed successfully a few months ago)

Problem

KOReader worked perfectly before the firmware update.

After updating to firmware 5.18.1.1.1, KOReader stopped launching.

KUAL still opens normally.

Inside KUAL I can see:

KOReader → Start KOReader

When I press "Start KOReader", the screen flashes once and immediately returns to the Kindle Home screen.

No error message is displayed.

What I already tried

• Reinstalled KOReader (kindle and kindlehf packages).
• Reinstalled KUAL.
• Restored my original backup of the "extensions" folder.
• Restored my original "koreader" folder.
• Tried installing the Hotfix and KUAL Booklet through MRInstaller.
• MRInstaller returns immediately without installing anything.
• KUAL itself works.

Current structure

The root contains folders such as:

• documents
• extensions
• fonts
• libkh
• mrpackages
• amazon-cover-bug
• nosebleed

There is also an "adbreak" file in the Kindle root.

The KOReader folder contains frontend, plugins, ffi, libs, resources, etc., so the installation appears complete.

The extensions/koreader folder contains:

• bin
• config
• menu.json
• README

There are also several crash dump files (Indexer_Dump and KPPMainAppV2 *.core files).

Question

Is this a known compatibility issue with AdBreak on firmware 5.18.1.1.1?

Should I recover the jailbreak somehow, reinstall a specific component, or is there another recommended recovery procedure?

I would really appreciate any guidance.
