While in "Display mode", Blizzard's new contrast, brightness, and gamma settings break this addon when changed from the default of 50, 50, and 1 respectively.
I'm not sure if this is something that is feasible to fix or not, but I thought I'd leave this issue here at least for people to find if they ever ended up with my issue.
As it is now, the graphics settings should look like this in order for this addon to work in display mode.
