Unable to switch between Workspaces

Hi, the GUI works beautifully, but hyprland workspaces ignore hyprshell commands for some reason.

hyprland --version

Could you provide a more detailed explanation and (if useful) Screenshots of what is not working as intended.

How did you install this package? It seems like important files form usr share hyprshell are missing. (Not related to your issue)

Ahh you are using the alt tab / switch mode.

This mode doesn't allow clicks on Windows or workspaces.

It is only intended for quick recent application switching.
Take a look at the overview mode, it allows you to click on the windows.

Yeah, so I downloaded the package from the release page, copied hyprshell file into /usr/local/bin/hyprshell then chmod +x it.

Now it's added in systemctl as a service

I'm sharing another video trying more things. It could be an installation issue.

Ahh I see you are trying to click on the workspace but it doesnt switch the workspace...

I also noticed many icons from the settings app are missing. if you run arch I highly advise to install the PKGBILD, either from aur or just by downloading it from the packaging folder.

If you want prebuild binarys from github, either use the hyprshell-bin package or look at the commands it is executing:

Only installing the executable prevents the settings app from working correctly

Couly you run hyprshell run -vv, open the overview mode and click on a different workspace than the current one. Then post the output here
