For larger patient populations selecting patients on age (e.g. 4Y to 4Y3M) is cumbersome. Sorting on birth date now lists all patient with age in years, but when one of the patients is viewed the list is reset to the first page. A filter, like the search field, having a more permanent selection during the session would be very helpful.
This can be a multiple filter option where selection can be done e.g. on both age and gender, having (or missing) an informed consent etc where you can drill down to the patient group and information you are interested in.
