Sorry to say that but IMHO that is "talking about the emperors beard" (german proverb).
There are more important things to be engaged than renaming the repo and then being forrced to scan the wiki and repair all those links to the files ...
The gain from that action seems very marginal if not non-existant to me ...

Just a technical point, when you do github repo rename, it will auto-redirect links to the new repo.
