Course Outline, Timings and Agenda

It would be good to have a set of timings for how long students can expect it to take to cover each section. If we split the course in 3, per #43, these timings can just refactor to each sub-course.

This would involve an outline of timings (perhaps located in the first notebook) in the style of https://durhamarc-training.github.io/2026-01-15-DU/#schedule

Perhaps assigning a helper to take these timings in the course instance on the 28th would be helpful if these are not already known.

Sounds good for me. I'd add (maybe it's meant already as outline in the issue title, but not explicitly mentioned in the description) the contents slide feels missing in the beginning of the presentation (as we introduce to the course). It would be convenient for students not only hear, but also see, what to expect from the course. Timings set expectations well too and can be provided on the same slide for each section there.

While we need a timing slide for us, we set ourselves up to not deliver what we promised if we needlessly share granular timings like that. We can add it as a note into the filled version to be filtered out by the pre-commit hook

I do disagree though @Niolon. Best practice exemplified by the Carpentries training is to share the rough agenda with the class. It's possible that our material isn't in as mature a state such that we can be confident on timings, but a section overview of what will be taught on the course is good.

The timings themselves can outline when things such as breaks would happen: now that specifically is a quite key accessibility requirement for learners, so that they can expect how much longer a given unit will take.
