Reading Facets characteristics returns 0 bytes

I'm using Qt 5 to access my TimeFlip.
I get the notifications for "facet changed", but with zero bytes of data.
I try to write the password characteristic with "00000", but I still get 0 bytes for the facet, also for the accelerometer characteristic.

Any idea what might be wrong ?

Is there anything else I have to do to get the timeflip to let me read the facet characteristics ?

Seems that configuring the TimeFlip with the mobile application does change the default password to an unknown value: when I unplugged and plugged back the battery, I was able to get the facet value (after putting the password, of course). On the other hand, when I added the TimeFlip to the application, I'm not able to read it any more. Thus ... Do not pair the timeflip with your phone ?

(no but seriously, what is the new password ? It seems there is no way to set or change it in the mobile interface)

Hi! Yes, upon connection to TimeFlip the mobile app changes the password to a random one and stores it inside the app. This is done to prevent connecting the TF in use by someone to other phones. The only way to read TF values is not to have it connected to a phone, or if it was connected - to reset it beforehand, pulling the battery out.
