Unable to complete "Block known bot accounts"

Hi there! I've been trying to get all of the known bot accounts blocked, but it seems to freeze after loading over 16,000,000 out of nearly 68,000,000. When I refresh the page, I end up having to start all over again and my progress doesn't end up being saved. I've tried on Chrome, and am trying again with Firefox to see if it's any different; but it's already slower progress than Chrome. Is there anything I can do to complete the process? Thank you!

There are multiple possible issues you might be running into.

• To not have to "start all over again" you first have to let the page load you current blocklist. Only then it knows which accounts to skip over.
• Both Chrome and Firefox (or any other browser really) have per tab memory limitations , Firefox is generally better with higher limits but it's still possible to reach them. These limits can be reached by just letting it load lots of accounts or later when trying to block lots of accounts.

While it might have made sense to preemptively block known bots a few years ago when there was less then 3 million or so, now it's not really doable with 68 million or more. I would rather recommend using the "Block all new followers" tool with the setting "known bots". This way if a known bot account follows it will automatically be blocked and removed again.
