pip install issue?

I'm trying to install it using pip and it keeps saying:

This is after installing the xcode compiler. Is there a fix?

Hi @bendemonium, thanks for reporting this, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

The cpython-314-darwin and error: metadata-generation-failed messages point to a compatibility problem: you were on a Python version (3.14) that SHINIER didn't support yet. I just uploaded a new version (0.2.2) that now supports Python 3.13 and 3.14. I ran multiple tests without any problem, and I hope the same will apply to you — in any case, your pip install error should not happen again.

If you still run into issues, please report them again so I can fix them.
