Hi! I'm using the Tonex One Controller with the following board:
ESP32-S3 3.5" Capacitive Touch IPS Module
Board model: JC3248W535C
8MB PSRAM / 16MB Flash
Arduino + LVGL development board
320x480 display
I installed the two latest firmware versions through the website, and also tested some older versions.
Current setup
- JST cable connected to positive and negative -> 5V power source
- USB-C connected directly to the Tonex One
Issue
After flashing the firmware, the screen updates and works normally by itself.
However, when I connect the board to the Tonex One, the amp image stays on the screen but the display continuously flickers/blinks and never stabilizes.
The device does not fully freeze, but the screen keeps refreshing/flashing constantly - even if i still see the tonex amp image...
I also noticed that the screen behaves normally when powered alone, but the flickering starts immediately after connecting the USB-C cable to the Tonex One.
I already tried changing cables, and right now I'm using an iPhone USB-C cable.
Any tips on what could be causing this?
Could this be related to USB communication, power delivery, cable quality, or firmware compatibility with the JC3248W535C board?
Thank you so much 🙏
