Hello. I have an M-vave MidiA (MIDI-Bluetooth adapter) connected to my Line 6 Helix, which allows me to send MIDI messages via Bluetooth that my Waveshare 4.3B touchscreen receives perfectly and uses to change presets on the ToneX One.
I have purchased an ESP32-S3 DevC-1-N16R8-S3 and used the corresponding firmware from the installer to install version V2.0.3.2 with the ESP DEVKitC N16R8, successfully connecting to the M-vave MidiA (adding it in the web configurator) as the blue LED on the MidiA stays lit, indicating that it has connected. I’m trying the same setup on my Helix, and every time I use a Helix footswitch, it should change the preset on the ToneX One, but it doesn’t. However, it does receive the signal because a blue LED on the ESP32-S3 lights up briefly when I do so, but the ToneX One doesn’t change the preset.
Can you help me?
I’d also really appreciate it if you could add the circuit to the project for making a bridge to connect to the controller via a DIN5 cable. I know they’re sold, but they’re not easy to come by here, and I think there are very few components needed for a DIY project.
Thanks a lot.
