PirateMIDI-Mini V1 --- Tap Temp Indikator doesn't flash on V 2.0.3.2

Hi Greg,
I have now installed version 2.0.3.2 on my three Tonex controllers (Waveshare 1.69 Touch, Waveshare 4.3.B, and PirateMIDI-Mini V1).
Everything is working wonderfully so far! Thank you very much for that.

However, on the PirateMIDI-Mini V1, the Tap Tempo indicator does not blink when I install the specific V2.0.3.2 build intended for the PirateMIDI-Mini V1. As a test, I then installed the standard V2.0.3.2 version designed for the Waveshare 1.69 (non-touch) display. With this version, everything works flawlessly, and the Tap Tempo indicator does blink.
Can I leave this version installed, or is it absolutely necessary for me to install the specific version for the PirateMIDI-Mini V1? The Waveshare 1.69 (non-touch) display built into the PirateMIDI-Mini V1 should be hardware-identical, shouldn't it? Or does the hardware differ in any way?

Hi. The only difference for the Pirate Mini build is that Midi is enabled by default, where as its normally disabled by default. It's fine to use the normal firmware on a V1 (some V2 models have leds though and are different firmware in other areas.)

Which location are you meaning for the tap tempo indicator, on the web page?

I'm referring to the Basic-Display „Display the aktuell number of BPMs and shows also the BPM-flash indicator-light under the actual BPMs.. The flash indicator is always permanently lit on the Polar Mini V1 in version 2.0.23.2. The indicator normally flashes in time with the set BPMs.

Actually it could be the new feature that allows the BPM flasher to be disabled. See the web config Misc section.

I'm aware of this new feature to turn off the BPM indicator. However, I haven't tested whether the flash indicator can be turned off using this feature in firmware version V2.0.3.2 for the Polar Mini V1. I just noticed that it's constantly lit and doesn't blink.

I found the issue here. The Polar config files were missing the item to enable the bpm flasher, and a bug in the main code didn't hide the flasher when not enabled (but didnt make it flash, just left it on.)

All fixed now. Did you want a beta to try?
