This is a space to shape what this project becomes.

I started this because I was frustrated. Someone called one of my posts "AI slop"—and I don't even use AI to make my content. But I do use it to check my math, build tools I couldn't code myself, and clean up dictated notes. There's no good way to say that.

"I use AI" is meaningless. We need something better.

What we're building

A simple, voluntary disclosure system for creators—like Creative Commons, but for AI involvement. Not "did you use AI?" but "how did you use it?"

What we need

• Feedback on the spec — Does it make sense? What's missing?
• Help with naming — "AI Transparency Commons" may not be the right name
• Real-world testing — Try applying this to your own work. Does it fit?
• Diverse perspectives — This has to work across fields

How we work

• Work openly
• Be generous
• Speak with respect—assume the most respectful interpretation
• Be tough on ideas, gentle on people
• Step up, step back
• Avoid jargon
• Together we know more

If it's sloppy it's probably not Ai .. sloppy is what makes us human .. I've had a few run ins :-)
