That is correct. If you are comfortable modifying the DMI information, feel free to do so, but do know that all of your OEM apps will stop working. For example, the apps to control the power settings, display settings and thermal profiles on my XPS don't work anymore. |

Hello, I used the script you created on my Lenovo Legion laptop and it worked very well, for which I am grateful. However, I would like to discuss the issue of certain apps like "Phone" and "Bixby" not being able to be spoofed using the script. I want to ask about Samsung's detection mechanism for these apps, because I noticed from past issues that it seems possible to gain support by modifying the BIOS. I have a tool that can modify information such as the SN of the Lenovo Legion laptop, and I want to ask if this could resolve the restrictions on the "Phone" app.
