App launcher kinda slow and no persistance with pfp

Hi,
So in settings when i add my pfp, it never persists from next login. its back to not being there. so i was thinking if u have any solution that i can implement or test it out and fix if an issue.

Also app launcher is buggy in niri. have to press the key two times for it to launch. it auto launches when we press a letter in overeview(which hopefully u can keep as an optional setting).

If you need proof of the app launcher lemme know. I'll add a recording.

Its missing accountsservice, which is required for PFP to persist. And a screen recorder of the launcher would be helpful
