Good question. Well, I have not looked into localization or even changed it. So far Sally has only translated all the source code comments to English. As for actual UI localization, the process should be the same as in Open Salamander. If that's not documented for Open Salamander, I will add a page / documentation / guide on how to add more language support. Thank you @Adamaji74 |

Quick update: I audited the repo and Sally does still carry the legacy translation archives plus Translator tooling, but I have not documented or packaged the workflow yet. I opened #49 to track making localization contributor-ready from current Sally builds. The first target is Czech and Slovak on top of the preserved translation data already in the repo. That work will cover:
So the short answer is: not fully ready today, but the pieces exist and I am working on making the workflow reproducible now. I will update #49 and this discussion again once the guide/artifact are ready. |

Great news — Sally v1.0.8 now ships with language packs for all three platforms (x64, x86, and ARM64). Czech and Slovak are both included, along with 8 other languages. The release also includes a translator workspace package ( Please give it a try and let us know how the Czech and Slovak translations look: https://github.com/0xeb/sally/releases/tag/v1.0.8 If you run into any issues, feel free to open a new issue. |
